Dawn,

Your explanation of mixing colors in Photoshop as if they were paint is the most well-written PS tutorial I've run across - and I say that as an engineer with very limited artistic skills. And in tracking you down to thank you, I came across the Graphene theme.

I can only say thank you for providing the two pieces we needed for a website we're building. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I also wanted to ask if you still do small little Photoshop jobs. The blending we're trying to do is something I'm sure I can do, but not sure if the time expenditure on the learning curve (using your tutorial) and my weak artistic skills makes it a worthwhile investment.

If you still dabble during the Pookster's naps, and have probably 15-30 minutes for what we need, I'd like to talk to you about what it would cost to do what we want (it's changed slightly because of the Graphene theme).

Please let me know either way, and love the video of Vlady in the rasta hat after lending his to the Pookster.

Thanx for help you probably didn't even know you gave; I sincerely appreciate it.

Keith

We all felt tired and a little frustrated in those first few weeks, and also a bit anxious when Theo went into ICU. After all you went through getting to the point of delivery, complications were very disappointing. But I remember seeing that beaming smile on your face when we came to visit you in the recovery room. You looked so happy inspite of everything that happened. I was alarmed at your color, too pale to be normal, and ran to ask the nurse if you lost blood during the surgery. She said no, your color was due to exhaustion. I learned from you the next day that you had in fact lost quite a bit of blood and why. Mom's get very worried when they see their own daughter experiencing anything negative surrounding childbirth. You've had a wonderful attitude throughout and never expressed all that had to be going through your mind at the time, at least anything negative concerning being a mother. You had every right to wonder why things happened the way they did. After all, I had been a natural childbirth teacher and you had seen wonderful deliveries in the movies that I'd shown to my students. I'm so sorry you had such a rough time. Theo is a joy, even though I have to admit also, that it was great to take a break from him at times. He's been so much fun to be with since we came back to see him last December. Thanks for being such a good parent. Just so you know, I've been very proud of you and Vlady and the way you have been so attentive and loving towards Theo. Maybe I had some influence in that regard. I sure would like to claim so. Love, Mom

I love reading your updates on Theo. Maybe more so because we are both "older" Moms and have babies close in age so the development issues are something we have in common. Sounds to me like he's moving along just fine in the right direction. Trust your maternal instinct, take the specialists observations under advisement but continue to do what you're doing. You are a great Mom, and Theo looks to be a very happy healthy little guy!!
